Clear Clamshell Tart Molds

6 Cavity Clamshell Tart Mold/Container
NEW!!! Make 6 1"x1"x1" snap apart tarts in one sellable hinged lid container. Holds about 3 oz wax (by weight) to the brim. Includes a hang tag hole for easy display. (Wax not included, just the molds)
Directions: Pour your scented Votive Wax (I used a blend of 25% Container/75% Votive Wax) direcly into the main cavity at 150-160 degrees (hotter will distort the shape). When cool and hard close the hinged lid and apply your label for a nicely packaged, ready to sell product. Your customer snaps a tart piece off like a hard chocolate bar to use in their warmer.

In spite of a few nicks in the finish, these are heavy quality stainless steel wick trimmers designed to reach down into those deep containers, with a special lip around the sharp cutters to hold the clipping. These are 2" tall and the opening is 1 3/4". These hold about 2 fl ounces or about 1.75-2.2 oz (by weight) of wax, depending fill level.
If you want a straight sided votive with no flare, just don't fill your mold all the way to the top.

Our votive wick pins fit just right into our metal votive molds and a little loosely in our clear polycarbonate molds. Place the wick pin in the mold, pour your votive wax and lit it cool and harden. Pull the votive out of the mold and tap the wick pin out of the votive, then push your pre-tabbed votive wick into the hole.

Use Votive wax so it will shrink away from your tart mold as it cools. Use with a Tea Light Wick to make floater candles to float on water in a centerpiece. The molds are seamless and made from heavy gauge tin plate with scalloped edges. They measure 3/4" deep, 2 1/4" across top & 1 3/8" across the bottom.
